This was by far the heaviest WOD in the 2011 regionals. Blake came out on fire and got out to an early lead, but shot his load prematurely and had trouble finishing. This is common for inexperienced competitors, but lets face it, the kid is young and his potential will exceed many others over time.
Brooke had a consistent performance as always, but even with what I thought was a good combined time in this WOD, we took a 14th place in the event making it nearly impossible to compete for a top 3 spot.
No hard feelings though, Blake and Brooke laid it all out there and it just happened that lots of teams put up dominant performances on this one.
