11 months, 10 days, 3 hours, 3 minutes and 58 seconds. That's about the gestational period for a horse. Thanks for making this a "big deal," because it really was. My support staff (it's really an entire staff)are the best. Thanks for hanging in there with me and never rolling your eyes at me... at least in front of me. Here's to the future INCREDIBLE pr I am gonna get on the next 30 muscle ups for time.

Nabeta posted the NorCal 40 WODs to his Facebook:
wod 1: 1.2 mile run with 20/14# weighted vest.
wod 2: 30 squat snatches 125/85# (no power to a squat or slow down to squat/one motion) no reps will have a penalty of 20 du.
wod 3: 7 min amrap: (7 c2b, 10 db pp 40#, 10 kb swings)
4 floater wods throughout the competition.
My entire life has built up to WOD #1, only to have my world come crashing down on me for WOD#2 . . .
Posted by: brother mike | January 25, 2012 at 02:18 PM
Just a correction to the weight for women on WOD 3 dumbells . . it's 25#. also, they don't mention the weight on the KB swings. i just posted a comment asking them to clarify.
Can i just say "F**************************CK" about WOD 1? I would've even had that reaction if it were just a regular 1 mile run. . .
i should've kept on doing my adaptations endurance workouts from lene. yes, you told me so, chris.
Posted by: donna | January 25, 2012 at 02:52 PM
oh, i guess i would say the same to WOD 2, as well. i'm just too clueless to know any better!
Posted by: donna | January 25, 2012 at 03:29 PM
Hear you on WOD #2.. Pretty sure I have a better chance at running the 1.2 mile with 85# faster then doing even one Squat Snatch at this weight..
And the GOATs just keep on coming!!!
Posted by: Liz | January 25, 2012 at 03:50 PM
Honestly do not think I can snatch 85#. Guess what I will doing at the box tomorrow. running and snatching, running and snatching, etc. WOD #3 doesnt matter, I will be dead from either 1 or 2.

40's wods are mean. You guys are going to have so much fun.
Posted by: Olga B | January 25, 2012 at 04:36 PM
I have to say, this Crosfit stuff can put a serious dent is a person's ego.
Posted by: Scott | January 25, 2012 at 06:26 PM
WOD 2 strategy...try for a 20# PR (no early arm pulls!!). Then strip some weights, and round out the other 29 at 53# with perfect form and make OLYs the strong suit for CFES!

Great job angela! Miss you girl! And as far as the norcal 40's go, fuck it! Just jump hard, extend your hips and fly under the weight! You guys got this!

Angela, that was really great!
