Rest Day
Ever think of carrying your own body weight for 1 mile straight? Well Travis did, but he decided to have Angela be the guinea pig for this feat. 110# of weighted vests and sandbags she carried though our 1 mile course. She is shown here with a big smile less than 100m into the trip, but it sounded like she was giving birth as she finished. I think it took just under 15 miunutes. Pretty bad ass huh? If you don't think so, we would be glad to arrange this one for you.

Matt P. and I have been trying to get the "Angela" recognized as a new international weight standard for a while. The biggest kettlebell in the shed (at 106#) weighs approximately one Angela. Other conversions: there are approximately 48 kilograms to the Angela and approximately 3 pood to the Angela.
Great work Angela.
One question: if we think it's bad ass can we still arrange to do that workout?

270#s worth of sandbags and weight vests sounds fun.

Epic!
Definition: the tale of a hero and her larger than life adventures, which inspire those around us.
I'm with Bro Mike. When do we get to try?!?!?!? Hmmmmmm. My youngest child weighs about what I do. Is it cheating if I practice by giving her piggy back rides?

Angela: nice work!

Pass.
Big Rob- that mile course is bad enough without doubling the resistance.
Bro Mike- you are alone in trying to use the term. I just call the 3 Pood KB "Angela" and refer to Ang as "3 Pood".

Completely bad ass! I thought yesterday's 100m walk was bad. You rock Angela!

Before you try this you should know: I said really bad shameful things to Travis. Talk to Justin about what it really sounded like. It's really 127#. You need approx 121% your body weight. The whole thing is crazy.

I work at a big bookstore that is pushing their ereader, and I still can't bring myself to get one either. You're not alone.
