I was not there, but this is a great video, kudos to Justin for editing. Nice to be part of a community that will take risks and try something new!!

Woo! A great time was had by all. And that's the bottom line, 'cause Stone Cold said so. I am sure there were a lot of bbq's later and if you paid real close attention, you could smell what the Rock was cooking. Oh yeah. But the question remains: whatcha gonna do brother, when Hulkamania runs wild on you.

Special added bonus if someone can name all the WWF superstars that own the taglines in the above paragraph and the source of the music for Justin's clip, I will not do the mock Oly meet in my singlet tomorrow. Otherwise I'm sporting the unitard.

Steve

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Hulk Hogan...

Rick Derringer "I Am A Real American"

brother mike

Steve, missing two.

Also, the music is a wrestler's entry theme.

So glad there are still a few Hulkamaniacs left out there althogh I am not surprised that its bro mike with all the knowledge of pro wrestling.

Not going to lie: I'm a huge Hulk Hogan fan. My dad took me to a WWF event at the Cow Palace in 1991, and I got to see Hulk Hogan beat Rick Flair! I don't know other wrestlers' tag lines or references, but a Hulk Hogan reference is not lost on me....my mom and I waited in line at a Toys R Us for over 6 hours to meet Hulk Hogan. I admit it: I'm a Hulkamaniac.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with professional wrestling. It is a phenomenal business model that has gone through so many rebirths and still keeps going- many other businesses should be so lucky, well run and well received.

In addition they do so many things (as an organization and as individuals) for great causes like shows in active combat areas (they have been to both Iraq and Afghanistan), supporting voter registration, free tickets for the troops at every live event, etc.

I read an article about John Cena (and there is no "you can't see me" in the above paragraph). He is the number one wish granter of all time for Make-a-Wish at 300 wishes granted. I have also seen a video of him squat snatching what looks to be about 200#. Hard not to be a fan of that kind of athlete who gives back that much.

Besides, according to a Saturday Night Live skit, the 216th most surprising thing in the world is that professional wrestling is real.

Speaking of steroid users, I thought this article was interesting.

Great video Justin, thanks for going the extra mile and putting stuff like that together for us. Maybe next year we do the workout at a location that isnt so dirty.

Jessica
