North Korean weightlifter Om Yun Chol proved to be one of the strongest humans to ever live last week when he clean and jerked over 3x his own bodyweight. Chol lifted in the 56k weight class or under 123.5lbs and lifted 168k or 370lbs! He became only the 3rd man in history to clean and jerk triple body weight. Chol snatched 126k or 277lbs before his mind blowing clean and jerk, giving him a 294k total and winning him the gold medal in the weight class.
Next time you think you start feeling like the weight is heavy and you doubt your ability to lift it, or you start thinking that you are plateaued and can't get stronger, picture this video and realize how much farther your body is capable of pushing.

That means I'd have to c&j 690 lbs. Unbelievable. Did he fully lock his arms out?

He's gotta be the strongest one at the chocolate factory.

He may not have fully extended his arms, but it was enough to be considered locked out and he certainly had control. If it wasn't locked, he could not have held it up. Looked like he was going to break, but 3x BW C & J is about the limit of the human body I would say.

On second look I would say his arms were extended, but there is an angle at his elbow known as valgus due to the extreme load. Google it.

Okay, we're now reduced to pitious begging. Our Masters team really needs a volunteer for the Moxie event. Your hotel room will be taken care of, but we need to know by tomorrow so I can take care of the reservation. Please, please, please?

Thanks Jeff! We really appreciate it! Okay, just one more volunteer needed for the novice team.

He is the third man to c & j 3 times body weight, this ties the world record in his weight class - it might be pretty close to the human limit.
And I would say those elbows are locked- any bend is the elbows starting to give way not failure to fully extend.

I especially found it interesting. For this matter, once I discussed with one of my friends, not only about the content you talked about, but also to how to improve and develop, but no results. So I am deeply moved by what you said today.
