For anyone else doing Diamond of the Tough, I won't be able to do the WOD this Saturday, so was planning on doing it Tuesday morning or at 4:00. If you want to join me, just email me at dshioya@gmail.com. Hope someone does! Cindy would be a b*tch of a WOD to do alone!! :(

If there is a group of you who would want to lift earlier on Sat, I can be there at 8am to watch you squat (I'm not going to watch/count Cindy though, oof) w/Powerlifting as normal at 11. If you guys can confirm, that would be great.

Diamond in the Tough Saturday:
Rae has agreed to come in early Saturday so we can do this as a group at 8:00 A.M. (this will help us stay somewhat out of the way of the regularly scheduled classes). My thought is we have two heats. Heat 1 will start as soon after 8 as we can and will be judged by the members of Heat 2. Heat 2 will start as soon after Heat 1 as possible (given warm ups and any clean up of visits from Pukie the Clown). If anyone wants to come in and watch just to count, that would be great too. Post to the blog if you can make it as a participant or judge.

Just finished a 20 minute AMRAP at Crossfit Blizzard in Truckee:
6 sumo deadlift high pull - 45#
6 burpees
6 hang power snatch - 45#
12 + 8 Rx (way harder than it looked, but good snatch form practice)

I love READING blogs about anything, especially about this topic. No matter how long the article would be, I read those. However, this one is posting a video instead of it. I prefer much reading than watching the video online.
