Bench Press 5-5-5-3-3-33 Rounds:5 Clean and jerk @ 50%200ft Sled Pull Coach Rae gives the group some pointers on shoulder press setup and execution before the lifting session.
For those of you who are wondering what this class is really about and or contemplating whether or not to go... Try it! you won't regret it. I loved seeing all the focus on mobility and movement and everyone can benefit from the focus of this class.

Two things about the specialized classes (strength class, the barbell club and the flexnastics class) really stand out from my perspective.
One:, every movement has a right way to do it and it is helpful to learn that right way (even if you are still trying to do something with good form, you should know what good form is for the movement and practice it until you get it). B: every thing we do has 'accessory' work, that is specific training to make you better at that class of movements. Whether the accessory work is abdominal strength related (weighted GHDs, frisbee drags, etc), movement related (split stance jerk balance, snatch hit and catch drills), or in some other class of accessory- there are a million ways to get better at things you want to improve upon.
Basically if you want to get better at something specific (or a bunch of things) make the effort to get to one of these classes and see how much really working on one issue can carry over to the rest of your crossfit workouts.

Thanks guys! Just remember, class is Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm, and Saturdays at 11am. It's open to both Foundations and Level 1 members. Join in! It doesn't matter where you start, but how consistent you are.
