So you say you want to eat healthy right? In the CF community protein is king (as it should be), but what about your fruits (yes I said fruits) and vegetables? What about getting some some variety in your diet? Well, one way to do it is through membership in a CSA. Many of us at CFES belong to a CSA and more than a few belong to Riverdog Farm. The benefit of a CSA is that you get fresh, locally grown produce at an extremely competitive price. But the real benefit is the variety and the extremely high quality and of course taste!
But what am I going to do with all that produce that I never even heard of? How does a CSA work? What's a fava bean? What do I do with a turnip? What happens if I can't consume what I get each week? Here is an article from NPR that should give you a few ideas.

So, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and jump in! It won't hurt, I promise.
Great work, u gave nice post to us. Thanks for spending the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love learning more on this topic.

Hi Josh:Judi and I live part time on Oak Shore Drive in Fall River. We are here many weekend thruhgot the year. We like supporting the local CSA movement but since there is just the two of us, and only here part of the week, a CSA share does not make much sense. We are only here usually on Fri, Sat. and Sun. I wanted to find out if you will be selling at a stand, at your home on Main Street, farmers markets or only with the CSA packages that you offer. Think Spring!Phil and Judi.
